If you're traveling a lot and you need a cell phone then you'll want one that can connect to your computer and get your schedule. I've been using Palm for a number of years and I love it. It's compatible with Macs and PCs and it does many more things than just manage your schedule and allow you chat on your cell.
For example, you can read ebooks and manage your checkbook. You can even manage your checkbook and use Quicken. You can take pictures and download them to your computer and some even act as an mp3 player.
